The Skies are Alive
is a limited edition of four waxed terra cotta
relief. I made it for a fundraiser to repair a large chimney used by the Vaux Swifts.
These birds cluster in flocks of up to 30,000 before beginning their migration to South
America.

After finishing the big architectural ornament project for Town Square Mall in Las Vegas, I got some time in the studio for my own work. At left is the clay model for a new Offering. See the series in the From the Garden gallery.
 
Also I’m working on a carving of St. Francis. His love of nature and living simply make him a patron saint of nature and ecology. Some of my drawings below.
